Being fifty plus has its joys.
I am now beyond feeling old. Like Bob Dylan I can kick back, marvel at my repose and sing.

No change can befuddle me. I have crossed the technology and pace-of-life chasm many times overs and still earn a living telling people how to market to the young. Something about my generation’s rebelliousness in the 60’s and early seventies provided us with a reservoir of saviour faire.
An insouciance that celebrates both youth and wisdom while dismissing both as imposters.

Introduced to your blog By Mr. Subodh Morey-my colleague. I completely enjoyed the article & moreover cos I could align with the thoughts & thought processes. I feel akin.
Among buddies-we have always believed we were 'manufacturing defects' & that Creator had stopped making our kind anymore! Must confess its a pleasure to relate to the youngsters(who seek out our opinions/views but don't wish to display. We are aware & see the voids which we can safely fill, and fold our hands & enjoy to see them-in all their worlds.
The connotations have gone thru metamorphosis & evolution-words like 'sacrifice' is historical & extinct. But yes, we have no price on our heads & are fearless. The generation we are in was perhaps the last one which made us complete in each of our role play-be it personal or professional.
Looking back, i love the glory & golden era of which we were a part of-we worked we slogged in each department but we did not burn out. We are in the rat race but not 'rats'. Thx so much for enabling me share my views.
